It has been found that after installation of the BxC Salesforce BCI Connector some clients have experienced issues with Accounts and Contacts not being synchronised when the Project is sync'ed from BCI. The following could cause an issue with Account and Contact sync:

1. Required fields on the Account and/or Contact at a field level - it is recommended that these be moved to the page layout level as per Salesforce best practise.

2. Validation Rules on the Account and/or Contact - look to exclude records that have a Company ID or Contact ID as per the BCI Connector sync so the validation rule does not stop the creation of records through the sync.

3. Existing Workflow or Process Builder processes - review existing processes in place and try to exclude records that have a Company ID or Contact ID as per the BCI Connector sync so the process does not stop the creation of records through the sync.

4. Existing code - as per other items look to exclude records that have a Company ID or Contact ID as per the BCI Connector sync so the validation rule does not stop the creation of records through the sync.

If this is occuring and none of the following are found, it is recommended that you provide access to BxC through Grant Access privledges on the user so we can review debug logs. If this is not possible, please switch on debug logs and run some test syncs and email debug logs to support@bxc.net.au.
